Candy AI Studio: make your own movie, and what it costs
Most Candy AI video comes as the Shorts, written series you simply watch, but Candy's Studio lets you make your own movie instead. We looked at it on October 20, 2026: 83 characters, 29 actions and up to 10 scenes per movie, with every clip paid in tokens according to its length. Creating needs Premium. Here's what you get to choose, what each clip length costs, and how that compares with spending the same tokens on a series.

How the Studio differs from the Shorts
A Short is a finished product. Someone wrote it, and your only decision is whether to pay for the next episode. In the Studio nobody hands you a plot: you build the movie yourself, scene by scene, up to 10 scenes long.
The cast is Candy's own. We counted 83 characters, and you can narrow them down with five body filters that Candy labels Bae, MILF, Fit Bae, Busty and Curvy. You also pick a partner and a location. Leave the location alone and you're in the bedroom, which is the default.
Then come the actions, 29 of them when we looked. Only 11 can run as long as a full minute; the other 18 are short tease moves lasting 5 to 10 seconds. We won't list what they show. What matters for your wallet is length, because length is what you pay for.
Prices by clip length
Candy charges for Studio clips by how long they run. The shortest, 5 seconds, is 12 tokens. A 10-second clip is 20, a 20-second clip 30, and a whole minute 80. Longer works out cheaper per second: 2.4 tokens a second for the shortest clip, about 1.3 for the minute-long one.
Now set that against the 100 tokens Premium includes each month. They cover one 60-second clip with 20 left over, or five 10-second clips, or three 20-second clips with 10 to spare. Eight 5-second clips take 96. We saw prices per clip, not per finished movie, so budget a ten-scene plan before you start building it.
Token packs are sold to subscribers if you run out. We won't translate tokens into dollars or euros: we don't have a verified rate, and a guessed one would only mislead you. Premium itself is a separate bill. The lowest monthly rate comes with the yearly plan: $47.88 up front, which Candy presents as $3.99 a month.
Images, image-to-video, and our take
The Studio isn't Candy's only paid video tool. Candy also turns images into short videos, priced nearly the same way: 12 tokens for five seconds, 20 for ten, 30 for fifteen or twenty, 80 for a minute. A still image costs 4 tokens.
Our take: if what you want is a story, the Shorts give you more for your tokens. In 158 of the 173 open series a paid episode is 12 tokens, the same as one 5-second Studio clip. A five-episode series at that rate costs 36 tokens to finish, since the first two episodes are usually free. That's only a little more than one 20-second clip.
The Studio suits people who like to tinker more than they like to watch. If that's you, go small first. One 5-second clip shows you how a character moves for 12 tokens, and that's a cheaper lesson than a ten-scene movie you end up not liking.

No. Creating in the Studio needs Premium, and every clip then costs tokens on top, from 12 for the shortest to 80 for a minute. A free account can still watch the free episodes of the Shorts. It just can't make movies.
Can a Candy AI video be longer than a minute?
Not per clip: 60 seconds is the top length, and only the 11 actions built for it go that far, while the remaining 18 are quick moves of 5 to 10 seconds. A movie can hold up to 10 scenes. Candy's price list for clips stops at 60 seconds as well, at 80 tokens.
