Candy Shorts: watch the AI series smarter, in your language

Picture a soap opera cut into one-minute pieces. That's the format. Candy AI Shorts are written series with recurring characters and a hook at the end of almost every episode, but nobody stood in front of a camera: every face and every room is generated by AI.

On October 28 we counted 190 series. Of those, 173 are open, meaning anyone can start them, and 17 are Spicy, locked behind Premium from the first episode. Most open series stop at five episodes (161 do). At the other extreme, YES MA'AM keeps going for 35.

The plots lean on familiar setups: a wedding a few days away, a boss and a new hire, a roommate with no filter, a queen and the guard she picked. Free episodes stay suggestive. The explicit material lives in the Spicy series and in later paid episodes, so don't expect it in a free opening.

Pick any open series and play episode 1. No account, no card, no form to fill in. It works on all 173 open series, so you can sample a handful of openings before deciding anything.

If one grabs you, make a free account. That adds 174 more episodes across the catalog, in most cases episode 2, and two episodes are generally enough to know whether you care how the story ends.

Episode 3 is the decision point. A free account hits the upgrade window there, and from then on every episode needs Premium and tokens. Most series charge 12 tokens per paid episode, so the three paid episodes of a standard series add up to 36 tokens. The 100 tokens that come with each month of Premium cover two of those, with some to spare. Honestly, sample five or six openings before you even think about paying.

An episode lasts about a minute, and nearly all of it is talk. The setup, the joke and the cliffhanger can fit in three short lines. Miss one and the next episode makes less sense.

The dialogue is in English, and not always easy English. Under the Boss, for one, is quick British office banter with slang that trips up fluent speakers too. That's where subtitles help most. Candy lists subtitle tracks on 171 of its 173 open series: German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese besides English, with Japanese added on 77. Two list none.

The Spicy series are a blind spot: Candy won't stream them to a free account, so we couldn't see their tracks. Candy's account settings also have a language option, which we spotted on October 20, 2026, though we haven't tested what it switches. This site does its part by coming in five languages and listing the tracks for each series, so you'll know before episode 1 whether you can follow it.
